About Me
My name is Courtney Eng, and I am passionate about helping people experience the freedom, healing, and restoration available through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
I came to know the Lord and began a personal relationship with Jesus while I was in college. As I grew in my faith and became more involved in the church, one of the things that surprised me most was realizing that people can genuinely love and follow Jesus while still carrying deep wounds, struggles, and brokenness. I began to understand that faith does not mean we will never hurt—it means we don’t have to walk through our hurt alone.
My passion for biblical counseling has been shaped by what God has done in my own life and marriage. I have witnessed God bring healing and freedom to my husband through Christian counseling, and through that experience, God developed in me a desire to help others discover that they do not have to remain bound by their past, their pain, or the things that have wounded them.
Alongside counseling, I work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, a career that originally drew me because of my interest in the brain and the human mind. I love how God has brought that interest together with my passion for Scripture. The Bible teaches that we are transformed through the renewing of our minds, and I am encouraged by how our growing understanding of the brain’s capacity to change reflects this truth. I love helping people recognize unhealthy patterns of thinking, bring their thoughts under the truth of God’s Word, and discover the freedom that comes from allowing God to transform the way we think and live.
Marriage holds a particularly special place in my heart. God has done miraculous things in my own marriage, and I now have the privilege of counseling couples alongside my husband, Vyrik. Counseling together provides couples with the unique benefit of both a husband’s and wife’s perspective, creating space for each person to feel heard, understood, and valued. Our desire is to help couples move beyond simply resolving conflict toward deeper restoration, connection, and unity in their marriage.
I also have a particular heart for women navigating grief and loss, shaped by my own experience with late-term miscarriage. That experience taught me that grief is not simply something to “get through,” but a journey that deserves compassion, patience, and space.
Outside of counseling, I am a wife and mother of four and actively involved in my local church, where I lead women’s small groups and have the privilege of walking alongside women as they grow in their relationship with Christ.
I believe biblical counseling can be a place where people can be honest about where they are, discover truth, and begin to experience the healing work of God. My heart is to meet people with compassion, listen without judgment, point them toward Christ, and walk alongside them as they pursue greater freedom, wholeness, and healthy relationships.
