About Me
My name is Vyrik Eng, and I am honored to serve as a Pastoral Counselor with Hometown Heart Ministries. My passion is walking with people who are hurting—those carrying wounds, loss, and brokenness—and helping them experience the healing and restoration that only God’s hands can provide.
My journey into counseling is deeply personal. I know what it’s like to face brokenness, to carry pain silently, and to wonder if healing is even possible. For years, I tried to move forward without facing my past, but God never gave up on me. In His timing, He brought me to a place of restoration and freedom, using both counseling and the local church to transform my life.
Through my own story, I’ve seen firsthand how Jesus heals what’s hidden, restores what’s broken, and redeems what feels lost. And now, I count it an honor to walk with others as they begin that same journey.
As a Pastoral Counselor, my role is not to replace the work of God in your life but to walk alongside you—listening, guiding, and praying with you as you uncover the areas where healing is needed. Whether it’s emotional pain, spiritual struggles, relational challenges, or past wounds, my heart is to help you experience the wholeness and freedom Christ offers.
Beyond counseling, I also serve as a leader at 12Stone Church, where I co-lead Freedom Groups—discipleship groups that help men and women confront past hurts, break free from strongholds, and walk in the fullness of their identity in Christ. This ministry has become a powerful extension of my calling, reinforcing the truth that God doesn’t just want us to survive—He wants us to live in freedom. In addition, I am a Student Group Leader for Middle School (M12) boys, a role I am deeply passionate about and see as a direct calling from God. Walking in obedience, I have the privilege of guiding the next generation of young men in faith, character, and identity in Christ.
I’ve been married to my incredible wife since 2012, and together we are raising four amazing children—two daughters and two sons. Our family’s journey is a testimony of God’s grace, and I am continually reminded of His faithfulness in every season.
At Hometown Heart Ministries, my message is simple:
→ You are not too broken for God.
→ Healing is possible.
→ Freedom is real.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I would be honored to walk with you toward the healing, health, and wholeness that only God can provide.
