About
Kim Kiser is a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor honored to serve with Hometown Christian Counseling and Family Services. She is also a widow and the mother of seven children.
Kim’s sudden and unexpected journey into widowhood and single parenting as a young mother brought her to a place of deep despair. Healing began when she surrendered the belief that she could handle everything on her own and reached out for help. Through counseling, support, and submitting her weakness to Jesus, she experienced true restoration—and from that restoration grew a heartfelt desire to walk alongside others navigating seasons of profound pain.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and spent more than 20 years teaching in both public school and homeschool settings. As she transitions into the field of counseling, she looks forward to continuing her lifelong passion for helping others—sharing knowledge, building meaningful relationships, and guiding individuals toward growth and wholeness.
In January, Kim will begin pursuing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Toccoa Falls University. She is deeply grateful and excited to see how God will use this new season of her life to bring hope and healing to others.
